Riding your e-bike on a designated bike trail is the safest way to ride your e-bike. Sometimes, you must share the road with vehicles to get to the bike trail. We were at Maumee State Park in Oregon, Ohio which had wonderful paved bike trails.
Safety Items
Bike mirrors are a definite must for sharing the road with vehicles. Wearing a helmet is another excellent safety item you should invest in. If you are riding with another person, getting a Bluetooth-capable helmet is a great idea so you can talk to the other person as you ride down the trail. Karla has mirrors, but Mick’s never showed up when we recently ordered our E-Bikes… It makes you wonder… It kind of goes along with the Prince to Frog post.
